Crystal Resort Cleaners located in Carbondale, Colorado
Originally constructed to do commercial laundry for hotels in Aspen, we have converted to specialize in retail dry-cleaning and uniform service work. We then established drop stores within the Roaring Fork Valley. In 2006 we made the commitment to convert to an EPA approved dry-cleaning system, GreenEarth Cleaning; a solvent free system. Our team is committed to servicing customers in the Roaring Fork Valley and there is no project large or small that we will not take on, from drapery cleaning to flood damage.

Crystal resort cleaners offers a wide variety of services from dry cleaning and laundry, to wedding gown preservation, leather cleaning and more!
Dry Cleaning
The GreenEarth Cleaning process uses liquid silicone in place of petrochemicals. Essentially liquified sand, silicone is non-hazardous and non-toxic to the environment. When released to the environment, it safely breaks down into the three natural elements it is made from: sand (SiO2) and trace amounts of water and carbon dioxide. Which means it is safe for the air, water and soil.
GreenEarth is safe for people too. If you wanted to, you could safely rub it on your skin. In fact you probably already do. Liquid silicone is the base ingredient in many everyday shampoos, conditioners, deoderants and lotions.
Because clothes cleaned the GreenEarth way aren’t bathed in perc or other petrochemical solvents, they come back fresh and clean without unpleasant “dry cleaning” odor. GreenEarth is also very gentle on clothes. You can actually see and feel the difference it makes. Colors don’t fade and whites don’t gray or yellow the way they do in traditional dry cleaning, even after repeated cleaning. Everything feels better too. Fabrics are smooth and silky, and sweaters feel soft and supple again.
Household items
Household items are a particular challenge. The quality and construction of today's bedspreads and comforters varies dramatically as do their prices. Greenearthcleaning is not a solvent. Its specific gravity is less than half that of perc and less than water. This provides a cleaning medium that penetrates quickly and adds less weight to the item during agitation and drying. Alterations
We perform minor mending such as button replacement and simple repairs. More complicated alterations are sent out. Please note that more alterations currently cost more than the garment itself.
delivery Services available
We currently offer delivery service near Highway 82 from Glenwood Springs to Aspen. This includes scheduled service for offices and small businesses and personal on-call valet service on Mondays and Thursdays. Contact Us for more information.
Laundry
We have laundry capacity of 800 pounds per hour. We clean washable clothing, linens, terry, floor matting, area rugs, rags and hospital scrubs. All of this capacity is dedicated to a quality product for retail and small business customers. Our laundry programs are formulated specifically for lower temperature cleaning with less mechanical agitation, designed to preserve the color and texture of your linens.
Wedding Gown Cleaning & preservation
We currently send wedding gowns to the wedding gown company of New York established in 1901. We consider this the finest such service of this type in the country. They also provide preservation kits which include shipping, cleaning, preservation and insurance. The gown can be returned to any address of your choice. A great gift for a bridal shower!
Leather & Suede Cleaning & Restoration
We currently send leather items to Arrow Leathercare. More information can be found on their website, Arrow Fabricare.com.

**Prices may vary due to reasons such as item condition, staining, fabric types, lining and embellishments. Prices for rugs and drapes are based on size and condition and a release is required. The wash-dry-fold service is based on weight with a 5# minimum. All items must be in reasonably good condition for cleaning.
